Shipped before order was placed

Anyone else have an issue with an order lately where the tracking number shows the package was delivered before the order was even placed? I have documentation to show the tracking number must be incorrect, but my dispute was denied and ruled in favor of the seller. What else can I do?

I’m going through this right now. I just made a dispute and sent messages with screenshots to live customer service. I have already contacted customer service before I got a tracking number. I actually thought it was going to be delivered today due to the dates of order and processed payment. I will fight this until I receive my item or get a refund. Ridiculous!

I can’t figure out how to fight it. I sent in all my documentation with my claim but PayPal still sided with the merchant and closed my case.

I asked for a refund because I don’t want to deal with this and it’s ridiculous! I screenshot all the emails and the USPS tracking information and sent them that through live messages. I have had no contact with the seller whatsoever after many attempts. I escalated the claim today. I contacted USPS as well and filed a claim about it too. If your item was shipped USPS download informed delivery so you have a record of all deliveries. Doesn’t make sense that the shipping label was created in May and delivered before I ever placed the order. IDK how someone can create a fake shipping label! I am going to keep fighting it.

PayPal denied my claim even with all of my documentation. Hopefully you’ll have better results.

I’d open up a new case if possible. That’s BS that you got ripped off like that!

I can’t figure out how. It’s closed and I never got a chance to dispute it!

I had sent an email to the registrar of their website (from http://whois.com/whois/highsport.space)

They replied back to me a few hours later, and have taken the site down.  I have no doubt these scammers are running the same site (or similar sites) across other domains/hosts.  It's also fairly easy for them to start another site up again.  They will need to go to the efforts of getting themselves back up in the google engine results so at least I've created a hassle for them.

My bank completely eliminated the charge.  If PayPal is unwilling to step in for a blatant case of fraud, I strongly suggest you work directly with your bank and see if they can help you as mine did for me.

I've also updated PayPal on all of this, and really didn't hold much back in my thoughts on PayPal enabling/even protecting criminal operations even after being made aware of and provided evidence of fraud, while throwing individuals under the bus like this.

Same issue but my tracking number showed delivery as the 22nd and the order wasn’t placed until the 30th of May. I feel the same way about PayPal at this point. My documentation clearly shows that it is fraud but PayPal sided with the merchant.

I'm going through this now as well.  I realized I had likely been scammed moments after confirming the paypal transaction.  while the payment was pending I contacted paypal support but they could/would not cancel the pending transaction.  Yesterday I noticed, as others have mentioned, that I had a USPS delivery confirmation via the paypal notification.  clicking on the tracking number (or entering it directly on USPS web page), the 'order' was shipped three days prior to me placing it and 'delivered' the same day I placed the order but earlier in the day.  I'm pursuing this, but based on this thread am a bit sick to my gut that I allowed myself to be scammed.  If this is how it is today, paypal may be dead to me.  I've used paypal for years (maybe 20+), but not too often lately as I mostly ever used it for ebay and don't buy from ebay often (use amazon more).  If Paypal is not interested in pushing back on this obvious fraud, then I cannot continue with them and will become extremely vocal about this lack of support that they would in fact become an enabler of such criminal activity.
