Hi All,
Is it common practice for Paypal customer service reps to announce that "you have stepped away" and then leave the chat in limbo.
I was answering within seconds of their posts and then I got a stock "You stepped away" message and then nothing
I had to wait for over 4 hours to get in touch with this person & then they just ignored me.
Is there any recourse for this? Complaint forms or anything? not to mention my issue is still an issue.

Ive reached out on both Twitter&Facebook.
Its not an issue the community can help with but the Paypal agent I finally connected to just ignored me.

I have similar problems with Paypal not doing what is expected & deserved. Why should I subscribe to new platforms such as Twitter & Facebook to get an answer from a reputable financial compain. I am neither a Twitter or Facebook user. Can not see why I need to be. Paypal just trying to delay or wear people down. Disgusting service.

Not helpful at all. The only thing this does, is to direct you back to the PayPal chat option to wait who knows how long.

You are not alone with this problem. I opened a complaint with Paypal on 9th and still waiting, waiting, No trust in paypal company and believe even Ebay are to stop use of them very soon. Good luck with your efforts.
