Lost/delayed package claim, what should I expect?

Hi, I'm a little worried about a situation related to a delayed/lost package, so I don't know what to expect, Is there any chance to have my money back? maybe some experiences in similar situations could help me.

 

I bought through reverb an item 26th August, from Russia to Chile, the seller shipped it the same day, but the last status scan was 29th August, is still in it's homecountry without moving for almost 2 months, I requested a refund but the seller denied it, and after that he stopped to respond my messages, so reverb told me to make a claim through paypal, what can I expect? I think that my package is already lost.
