ImportVT sent an incorrect lower value item.

There is already a message about Xiangtan Hongchang Trading Co., Ltd. with the name Ario Trae and arioonlineserviceteam associated with it with multiple "Me Too" responses, but I wanted to communicate specifically with folks who placed orders through the e-commerce website Importvt and see how many folks have had problems with orders from that specific website.

What did you order, and what did you receive? 
Have you filed a claim through Paypal? Have you filed a claim through your Credit Card?

Have any of you returned the incorrect item?  If so, how much was the shipping cost to China?

These answers will help me decide if I want to try to negotiate a refund with the seller, escalate the claim through Paypal, or file a claim through my Credit Card.  Thank you to any community members who respond.

I purchased a 'Standing Desk Tabletop Workstation Fits Dual Monitor 32 Inches' and received a crappy mobile phone screen magnifying toy. That was billed to Ario Trae.

I also purchased a 'Desk Organizer -- USB3.0 Hub Wireless Charging Aluminum Monitor Stand' and received the same crappy mobile phone screen magnifying toy. That was billed to Newtron Trade.

Interestingly, both items came from the exact same address in China.

I attempted to negotiate with the company but they would only offer a partial refund, so I had no choice but to escalate to PayPal. The company tried everything under the sun to deter me from escalating the item, claiming that returning the items would incur 'massive' postage costs. I've informed them that if I'm forced to return the bogus items, I'll be adding the postage costs to my refundable amount. I should not have to be one single cent out of pocket due to their fraudulent activity. The company never addressed why they didn't send me the item I actually purchased.

PayPal are still currently investigating. I'll keep you informed.

I guess they are running a scam. Showing a very attractive deal and when you order, sending you crap. Ordered portable monitor and headphone but they sent some cheap plastic craps.

I have ordered a couple of dolls from them. I haven't received it yet. I'll let you know if I get my order and what it is when I get it.

I ordered dolls as well. Order placed 6/24/2020 for my granddaughter birthday that was 8/27. I rec'd a very cheap dash cell phone holder, I paid $4.69 to return After I took pictures. I've been offered 20% refund and 30% refund. I've had to escalate to PayPal still waiting. Of course they have shipping info but for a tiny piece of plastic. They should have to reimburse extra for all the time and grief. SCAM

Just received what was supposed to be a USB microphone but got what appears to be salad pincers. Just filed a claim with Paypal and plan to just wait and see what will happen. It's not much money, and I honestly got a laugh due to the absurdity of the situation, but that laugh wasn't worth the price.

I didn't order from importv but fell for a similar bait & switch scam. Orderd RC helicopter but got 2 masks, was offered partial refund at first, then full refund provided I return junk to address in Hong Kong, I refuse and using chat in message center, conviinced a rep to get me a full refund without having to return crap.

This scam has been going for years evidently, based on what I read here. The fact that PP hasn't done anything to curtail the scams (maybe until now, I hear they're changing their policies) is beyond comprehension, is the US a third world country or the most powerful country on Earth, I sometimes wonder?

If you don't mind, what name/website was your scammer using?  Sometime one scammer will use multiple front ends so if one gets flagged, others pop up.
