Hello,
I have subscribed to one of the antivirus programs and I didn't say anywhere that it is an auto-renewal payment. So after 6 months, it automatically deducted the payment which it was ($65). I filed a dispute in PayPal and I got contacted by the AntiVirus company, they told me to close the dispute first then we will decide whether they should refund me or not. TBH it sounds fishy.
Do you think I should do it or keep the dispute up until PayPal interfere?
Thank you.

Personally i would never close a dispute, whether you win or not is another matter if you had a subscription still valid on paypal.
However if you do close it i doubt they will refund, your call really.
Check if you had a subscription set up...
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments''.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you Sir for the reply. but what do think I should do next? the company clearly told me to close my dispute in order for us to look into your case.
I will keep my claim open just to protect my right.
Thank you.
