Dispute Decision Goes Against User Agreement!?

We purchased a Christmas gift that took 2 weeks to get any info on it. The customer wouldn’t answer the phone or emails. Contacted and opened a duispute case. PayPal forwarded a tracking # on shipping. Still never received the item. PayPal stated tracking showed delivered a week later and closed the case as handled. Still never received. Contacted UPS and opened a claim and found package delivered 15 miles away to person it was addressed to even though I had receipt and tracking number and my address on receipt. Seller marked it wrong. What does one do as the buyer for reimbursement?? I have all the documentation on all this.

No, the tracking number is still showing delivered but you have to supply official documentation to the effect that the address on the package is not [your address] and was not deiivered to said address, file a report with ic3.gov or a police report, pdf all the info and prepare to upload it to the case on appeal though PayPal customer service or the resolution center.

 

To contact customer service:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

 

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.
