Claim denied, can I appeal? I have proof!

I paid for an item in January, 3 months later I still haven’t received the item and seller kept pushing date back, I filed claim and seller threatens that he would ship the item and paypal would rule in his favor even tho it’s incorrect and I never agreed to the final product... I have messages from them saying so. They were supposed to send me a confirmation email for finalized product and never did, also didn’t even ship to the correct address. How can I file an appeal, I have text message proof of everything.

Text messages won't do by itself. To appeal an Item Not Received claim, get with USPS or courier to do an investigation of package with tracking number, once you have official documentation that parcel went to different street address, pdf it and ready to provide on appeal either at Resolution Center or contacting customer service:

 

(Please be patient as response time will be longer due to reduced staff/closed phone lines.)

 

  1. Log on.
  2. Click HELP at the top menu.
  3. Scroll down and click CONTACT US.
  4. Scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options such as Live Chat.

If calling, call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.

The package was delivered at the front door, BUT it’s at the wrong address. The seller asked me for my new address and it’s also on the messages, 🤦🏽‍♂️. He got mad at me because I opened the claim because it took him 3 months to deliver an item I paid for in January...I even have a screen shot of his website saying the turn around time is 30 days. There’s got to be a way to appeal this! Pay pal can’t just leave me out to dry!!
