Hi @Nikkoneri,

If you've been given permission to create a new account, which is a rare occurrence under only a couple of circumstances, you will need the assistance of a customer service representative to remove the financial credentials from the limited account to free them up for use on another account.

To contact customer service, please click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website for available options, or reach out by PM on Facebook or DM on Twitter.

I hope this helps!

Hi @Nikkoneri,

Thank you for your post! If the 180 days has elapsed and you are instructed that funds can be withdrawn from your account, you may need assistance to add a card for withdrawal. It is not possible to remove any financial credentials from a limited account, nor is it permitted to use PayPal through a different account or as a guest while you have a limited account.

I hope this helps clarify.

Hi @Nikkoneri,

Thank you for following up with us, and I'd be happy to clarify your question. Please note that after transferring your funds, any banks or cards linked to a limited account cannot be removed.

Then I am left with no choice do I? You mean to say that if I transfer my funds, I cannot use my card to my new Paypal account?

when my account was granteed the limited status they  suggested that I make a new one, and if I cant use my card on the new IF I transfer funds from my old account then my new account would render useless
