I made my account 10 years ago , I was never techsavy so I used the same password a few other places and with no 2FA activated the account was hacked. It had no bank accounts connected to it. Today I opened the account after 10 years , I tried to add a bank account and after it was added , it showed me that my account was permanently limited. Why was I able to add my bank account and why is it limited? There are no transactions or anything , some random user had added their email to the account but I had changed all settings to make it safer. Now my bank is stuck with this account and I am at a loss with where I went wrong. Any advice would be appreciated.
