Update fail

I am waiting for the update and absolutley nothing is happening.

No prompts, no messages, nothing

What is happeing Paypal?

we have exactly the same as you,no messages,no prompts etc,but reading another post it said if you can take a payment the update as been installed!we did a test payment of £1.00 & the payment went through ok,so we are presuming its been updated,(Not very good update info for all the people who have spent out on a card reader...is it PAYPAL?)

Which version of the reader are you using? Please see below message, apologies for any confusion however this update only applies to customers who are using the black PayPal Here Chip & PIN card reader with Contactless functionality.

Apologies for any confusion. 

The software update that was announced on Monday May 23^rd only applies to customers who are using the black PayPal Here Chip & PIN card reader with Contactless functionality. There will be no software update for the first generation white PayPal Here Chip & PIN card reader.
