PayPal have just updated their iPhone app and it now asks to connect to my reader for every transaction. This might not be an issue if you use multi readers, but I only have one.
My iPhone PayPal Here app used to everyday at approx 4pm ask me to log in to the app again after using it all day. Never knew why, it may have been a security feature. Since the update, it no longer does this and asks me to log in after I have connected to the terminal and tried to take the customers payment. It fails the transaction and askes me to log in and to re-try the card. Not what the customer wants to see and he thinks he's either paying twice or being skimmed.
Had this happen three times, with the first and second transaction having to call the customer back into the shop.
Is anyone else experience this issue or is it just me??
