Accepting paypal here payments in the Republic of Ireland

Hi

I'm based in Belfast but occasionally trade in Dublin. Anyone know if I can use my Paypal reader in Dublin to accept card payments either in euros or sterling?

Welcome to the Community!

Yes, you will be able to use your PayPal Here device if you are at an event in Dublin. The only thing is that as your account is based in Belfast, the transactions will still be processed in GBP through the PayPal Here device.

If customers from Ireland are purchasing items through the PayPal Here card reader, they would be charged from their card in Euros and then their bank will process a currency conversion to GBP when the payment is processed using PayPal Here.
