Paypal Protection

Hi guys,

Just wondering if someone can clarify something about paypal payment protection for me.

If I send money to someone (for an item I am buying from them) and they do not deliver the item, am I covered? I'm aware when purchasing through ebay, you are covered with paypal payment protection. However, what if it is outside of ebay and I am sending the money directly to the seller?

If not, does anyone know of a site that will allow the safe transferral of money?

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.

When you send money using PayPal and select the option to pay for "Goods/Services" then you will be covered under the Buyer Protection Policy. This is applicable for on and off eBay transactions. Please review this link for more information on the Buyer Protection Policy - http://ow.ly/Zlm2R.
