Pay After Delivery

Hi, I have followed the links and set up pay after delivery but when I click to pay via paypal my bank account details appear and the pay now option, I'm not given the option to pay after delivery. I have checked my bank details on paypal and it says pay after delivery is my preferred option so does pay after delivery automatically happen or have I done something wrong? Thank you in advance

Same problem here.  I thought it worked automatically too.  But all the charges hit my bank account the next day.  So I called Paypal and she apologized stating there are some "glitches" and would report this to the IT department.  So she sent me a letter to give to my bank to reverse all the fees that I will incur after this since this over-drew my account.  But the letter states that I made a mistake and used my bank account instead of my credit card.  I have it linked to a verified bank account and two credit cards.  I asked her what's the point of this offer if it doesn't work.  She apologized again and said she would send to IT department and that they were working on this problem.  Ugh.

I'm getting the same issues constantly with PAD. One minute it works and the next it doesn't even through the same shop.

Items I've been needing fast are going out of stock because I don't quite have the funds. I've never had a single issue paying on PAD and I find it to be both useful and a great peace of mind to use. It seems to only work one time out of 50 attempts.

Yeah, PAD is flaky.

First time I used it, I had a zero PP balance, and it worked great.

Next time, I had sold a bunch of stuff on eBay and had a high PP balance, but PAD ignored that and tried to take the money out of my bank accound after delivery. I got a reminder saying they would take the money out of my bank account in a day or so, so I had to scramble to transfer cash from my PP balance to my bank account. It took a day longer and the PAD transaction was declined and I got a note asking me to deposit funds -- they would try again in a few days. By then it was fine.

Since that incident, I never see PAD offered. Maybe I'm not eligible since I didn't have the funds in the right account?

I have used Pay after delivery since it started now since Paypals revamp even though my settings remain the same 

its not available to me, having spoken to customer services (What a laugh) knew more than she did same old lies

same old twatter log off log on no go, Paypal needs a kick up the B*M or a new competitor might do the trick.

Waste of time trying to get it sorted they obviously have a bug on some accounts no good bawling about it what do they care

they got you buy the b*l*s you want the goods you pay now, forget about pay after delivery make out you never heard about it

one day we can all make out we never heard about paypal here's holding your breath.

What a mess! I've been using PAD many times for multiple different items in the past, but just when I really need it, need a bit more security (purchased on eBay an item worth over £400) it's not available 😞

So disappointed!

How about a list of merchants that offer it!!!!! this PAD thing is ticking me off I cant find anything!!!!

Pointless having a list of merchants as you could buy from one with PAD and refused another time.

Pay after delivery is not available on every transaction and you can only use it when it is.

Personally i prefer to fund my paypal payment with a credit card for extra protection, can't see the point of PAD.

This is **bleep**. I was set up with PAD and when I used it it even confirmed it was PAD. If I had tried to buy something the regular way I would have been denied because my bank account had insufficient funds. So low and behold the next day (Today) I was charged and now I am overdrawn on my account. 

Another thing too is I was charged for shipping on an item I sold and shipped yesterday as well. Instead of it taking the money out of the sellers payment when the funds become availble. So now I am going to have 2 overdrafts because of paypal.

The last time I am using them again. For now on I am just gonna tell people to send me a money order if possible.
