hi I wonder if someone could help.
I bought an item from gumtree and paid for it on 2 installments.
It was agreed with the seller that I would make 2 payments.
1st installment of £290 was paid on 21 July.
2nd installment, of £290 was paid on 23 July on evidence that the item was posted to Royla Mail, I receilved this evidence via a tracking, recorded delivery number.
Over the last few days, the seller has refused to take my calls of email etc.
Both payments have been recieved by seller. But the item, according to the Royal mail tracking is still in the royal mail network. I was told by the seller that it should be with me the following day ie 24th July, but it has still not been recieved.
One of the payments was made using the buying goods and will allow me to put the payment through as a dispute.
The second purchase, my mistake, was made and when I put it through as a dispute i get the message "not a purchase of goods or services, contact the seller directly"
Can someone let me know how I would stand regarding this case as I'm not sure how to proceed with it?
