New to Paypal

Hi guys. I recently set up a PayPal account and successfully added my bank account and verified it. I then bought an item on eBay and the payment went through successfully. I was just wondering what happens now - does PayPal automatically take the money from my bank account? And are there any fees for this?

Do you have a back up card listed on paypal as well ie debit or c.c.?

If so then if you pay using instant bank transfer it will be credited to your seller immediately but may take a few hours / days to process through to paypal from your funding source but the seller has been paid so should send your item promptly.

If you are using your bank account and do not have a back up card or not paying via a card then it will go as an echeque and take a few days to clear.

There are no fees for buyers only sellers.
