What if I don't have a bank account linked to my PayPal account and I receive a payment?

If someone buys something from my website and pays via PayPal, does the transaction still go through if my pay pal account has no bank account linked yet?  Would the payment wait in the paypal account until the bank account is linked up?  And/Or can I request a check be sent to me?  What are the fees involved with all of this?

I saw your post a few days ago, but didn't answer because I had the same question about request a check.  But I can help you will part of your answere.

YES, the transaction will still go through.   But I don't know if we can request a check or not, so I'll bump the question back up to the top.

I see you have some questions about payments and withdrawals!  Let me help clear up your questions.

With your PayPal account, you can withdraw funds from your PayPal account without a bank account only if you have a Credit Card on the account confirming the address on your account.  A check withdrawal includes a $1.50 fee to process a physical check and mail it out to you.   Additionally, without the bank account, there is a $500 monthly limit to the withdrawals from your PayPal account.
