why has all of my money gone?

I had £15 in my paypal account and £20 in my bank account. When I used paypal to send the £15 to someone they took both my £15 from paypal and £15 from my bank. Why? 😞

That doesn't sounds right at all.

The balance in your account would be sent before anything else. Was there any despites or anything like that that had the payment on hold?

Any dispute that's opened either on eBay or PayPal will place the funds on hold.

well i was sending the money because i had to refund somebody as i had not sent an item i had sold over ebay. but they should have informed me that they were taking my money, right?

Did you use the send money tab to issue the refund and how much was the refund for?

If you used the send money tab and the refund was for £30, then this would be right.

i think i did press the send money tab but i only sent £15, but somehow £30 went:(

Hi GabrielaGardner,

Did you have a negative balance on your account when you sent your payment as generally this can be the reason for more funds coming out with your payment. If this was the case, you are advised of this in the confirm your payment screen.
