What do I do when a seller says they haven't received payment?

I sent payment on May 1st for an item through eBay. The money has been taken from both my bank account and paypal accounts but the seller is adamant that the money hasn't cleared their end. What do I do?

Hi,
I'm in a similar predicament myself for almost a week ,advice from paypal is to open a dispute through their resolution center. Data protection will not allow paypal to divulge details of either the buyer or sellers account details to one and other even though they are both paypal account holders and exchanging and receiving monies with each other. In other words a seller or a buyer can give each other whatever reason they want to each other without it being verified to the buyer or seller. This is the reason why they advise to open a dispute as e-mails between the buyer and seller can be tracked by paypal. if one or the other does not respond then paypal then go to the next stage of the dispute if it has not been resolved at that stage. I only know all this as I have had lengthy phone calls to paypal over the past week.
