Hello,
Few days ago i have been selling a beta key to a game called "hearthstone". The guy who have opened a case against me was a middleman (helper for trades).
So i have found a buyer for the betakey and he have offered me a 65 euro for it, i have accepted it. Then he have found a guy (middleman) to help us with trade because he was scarded that i can scam him. So we have done that through a skype conversation, the trade helper guy have presented for u the trade process step by step, both of us have agreed to these rules. I have asked the trade man to send me screenshot of him receiving the money from the buyer, he have send me a screenshot and everything seems ok, after this screenshot i have send a beta key to him, he have checked it and aggreed and it's work. After all i have got the money sent to my paypal account and everything was fine.
Yesterday at 06/10/13 the trademan who have send me a money have dispute saying that i haven't delivered the item to him.
Should i have be scared or not ? i can provide whole skype converstation with the buyer and the trade man also a screenshot from the trademan which shows he have received a money from the buyer.
tl;dr
- Guy wants to buy a hearthstone beta key with a middleman (trade guy)
- I have received a screenshot which shows the money was send from the buyer guy to trade man
- I am sending a hearthstone beta key to a buyer, he says everything is fine (with he key)
- i am receiving a money from the guy and everything seems fine
- 06/10/13 trademan guy opening a case angaints me that i havent dispatched a item for him.

There is no seller protection on paypal for virtual / digital items.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

As there is no seller protection for virtual /digital items then if the buyer files a dispute paypal will "normally" take the funds from your paypal account balance to refund the buyer.
If you don't have any funds in there then they can't pay the buyer back and as there is no buyer protection either for digital items paypal won't reimburse the buyer themselves as they would normally for a physical purchase.
However I am not sure what action they take against your account if you won't refund for a virtual item, normally they would put a sellers account into negative but that is only when they have had to pay the buyer back themselves which they would not have done in this case.
They may just log the dispute and if you get a lot of them take some action then.
If you want a more definate answer you will need to contact paypal themselves.
