Why does my money recieved stay in pending for so long?

HI!

I'm a new user on Paypal, I have sold my camera on Bay, I have received email payment confirm from pay pal but I cannot see my money. The first time I sent for a man in Nigeria and the second time I sold my phone to a women in Nigeria too. But I haven't seen my money? Do u know why?

Welcome to the PayPal community forum. We are always happy to have new members. 

On PayPal we always recommend that you do not ship out any items until you can see your payment completed in your PayPal account. If you have received payment you will be able to view this payment on the transaction history on your PayPal account. If you are unable to view or locate a payment it may be that you were not paid for your items. If you are unsure you can also contact us via the contact us link so we can review and confirm if payment was received for you.

It happened to me too! They asked me to ship my item to Nigeria, I never did, the confirmation email from PayPal, and from Ebay was fake, you could see it if you really looked in to it! Is there anything PayPal or Ebay can do in order to stop them?

New to paypal on this account. I don't use it for ebay.

I have another paypal account which works fine.

I have money pending in pay pal for 21 days - WHY? When I have been a customer for a number of years.

I have also emailed pay pal  numerous times, to ask them to release my money to no avail.

I am appalled with their customer services, including, when one telephones, we are kept on hold fo a very long time.

I am considering not using them in the future, unless they improve their sevices

One of the below will be the reason to your question why?

• You have been selling on eBay for less than 90 days
• You have an eBay feedback score fewer than 100 and have not yet established a record of good performance
• You have received fewer than 20 Detatiled Seller Ratings on eBay in the last 12 months or your eBay seller performance is below standard
• You have a high rate of customer disputes or a low eBay feedback percentage
• You have been a PayPal member for less than 6 months and have limited selling activity
• You have a sudden change in selling activities (e.g. suddenly selling expensive items, selling large numbers of items, etc.)
• You happen to be selling in a high risk category such as tickets, travel, gift vouchers, computers, electronics, mobile phones, etc.

Depending on the circumstances, paypal may set aside payments for a single transaction or for all payments to sellers who meet the criteria above.

Hi there,

I have an ebay account that has 3 payments showing as Pending through Paypal and nothing atall showing on paypal...can someone help...how do i resolve this? Do i post out the ebay items even though payment not cleared? HELP please 🙂

You need to check that the email addy you had on your auction was correct.

Go to ebay > do a pretend sell > go only as far as you need to go to be able to scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes?
