Paypal Access Card issue

Hi

 

I received my access card last week in the post, but is seems to be linked to a family business account and not my personal paypal account, the card has all my details of my personal paypal account e.g. name, address, email & dob

 

But the Merchant account ID seems to be linked to the business account and not the personal account. How can I get this changed I think it may be linked to the business account as I originally paid for the card with the business account.

You would need to contact prepaid Solutions directly for this. They are the card issuer.

I have been on the phone this morn to both paypal and the paypal access card team. Paypal said the card team should be able to transfer the card to a different account, but the access card team have said they are unable to.....So my card is rendered useless I might as well cut it up...Will have to wait for them to bring them out then apply for another...Its ridiculous that a big company like paypal cannot sort these issues out..!!!!

I am also having the same problem with my Merchant account ID. I rang paypal and they gave me my merchant ID from a old paypal account which my previous PP card was linked. I had since opened a new PP account but the card will not link with this account as the merchant ID is different from previous this is why I got my old merchant account ID num. Anyway I rang the access card team. The person on the phone didn't really understand and promised to ring me back some time today., but never did. It's doing my head in, sick of calling people and being past from pillar to post !!!

Hey there,

 

I regret that it isn’t possible to transfer the card from one account to another. I will pass this feedback on and see about implementing this in the future if possible.

I have just one question. You said "I received my access card last week in the post". Can you plz inform me which carrier delivered your card? You will help me a lot if you can remember that.
