As far as I'm aware, my account is verified and I've followed all the steps to lift the limits on my account, but there's still a £1,700 yearly limit. I've trawled the Help section, but to no avail.
How DO you lift the limits?

not solved for me, lost a large order today, the customer luckily rang me to say Paypal would not allow me to recieve any more money, had he not I would not have known anything about it as I have not received any email telling me I have reached a receiving limit. I looked for answers and THER IS NO "VIEW LIMITS" BUTTON ON MY overview page. The help page does not allow me to enter a question, the page is"dead", the "contact us" page does nothing other than go back to the dead question page. Why are Paypal so reluctant to make contacting them easy, normally a tactic reserved for "dodgy" companies.
I am currently using Nochex as an alternative as I cannot see any way to get the receiving limits lifted. So any commisions Paypal would be making off me are going into a different companies pocket. Your loss Paypal not mine.

Came here as a last resort to get the problem solved, as the "help section" and "contact us" sections on the Paypal do not actually give you any contact information. I see that nobody from Paypal has responded on here to a lot of what seem straightforward questions and problems, why is that, surely basic good business practice is to sort out the problems that are stopping you making money, whilst I cannot receive money then Paypal is not making any from me either.
All seems a very odd setup. Again, there are plenty of other money processors who are now getting a foothold against you Paypal, my Nochex account has never looked so good since implementing them as a replacement for Paypal, especially since I found out that Ebay lifted the ban on Nochex ( strange that the lifting was not advertised though!)
A response from someone who can solve these problems would be appreciated.

Nochex are taking your commissions, but you don't seem to care, is this a sign that Paypal is heading down the pan, certainly it's customer service seems to have left the building...........

sorry but the chances of you getting any help on here are very slim indeed, it seems Paypal does not want your money or your business especially if you are in the UK. I have been waiting ages for a response but there is no one with any idea of how to solve the problems they have. You may be better off using Nochex.co.uk a British version of Paypal that is growing exponentially since Payal have started to ignore it's customers.
Paypals loss.

Hi dears,
I have the same isue with paypal limits and they told me to add a bank account however I have NO bank account.
I would use Nochex.co.uk however I need paypal due to ebay paymenst since ebay.co.uk accepts paypal only:(.
Seems I must stop using ebay either.:(
Is there any similar as ebay.co.uk?

Hi Svetlana
you can use Nochex on Ebay, you just have to say so in your listings, so that your customers know.
Ebay banned nochex a while ago and removed them from the checkout process, but then found out they were bending a few legal issues so allowed Nochex as a payment, they just "forgot" to tell anybody, and "forgot" to add it back on checkout.
If you go through their small print pages you will see Nochex is perfectly permissable.
Cheers
