Dear all
I have a problem, i wish someone can help me.
I used to work in Qatar and i opened a PayPal account to receive payment into it.................now there is some money in it.
I have moved to my home country in Jordan and i continued using that account in Qatar from Jordan.
Today i tried to verify the account with my credit card that has been issued from a bank in Jordan, the credit card could not be linked to my account.
i read that if someone moved from one country to another, he has to close his previous account and open a new one...........but what happen to the money in the previous account???????
i could not withdrawl it or send it all because it is unverified because i couldnt have a credit card from Qatar because i was not there as a permenant resident, i was only a visitor.
Please tell me what to do, does PayPal take the money from me????

Hey there Mayay,
When you have your new PayPal account open in Jordan you can send the funds as a personal payment from your Qatar PayPal account to your Jordan one.
Then when you have done this just close your old account.

My problem has been solved.
My advise for everybody is when you have a problem contact PayPal customer service by phone and talk to some supervisor on the phone because the agents do not have the enough experience to help you.

We do strive to keep the quality of our service high, and we apologise if you did not get as good a service as we feel that you should get. Our agents are trained and constantly updated and tested on new products and procedures. It may be that your query was somewhat difficult as it involved 2 countries that agents may not have much experience of. Thanks again.
