I have paid the seller but they haven't received it!

I have paid for an item on the 24th April but the seller contacted me stating they did not receive a confirmation email immediately after. It shows up as paid on my eBay account and the status says payment completed on my PayPal account. Could anyone give me some possible reasons as to why they haven't received an email or my payment? Thanks

No idea, but they should not rely on emails....tell them to go check their paypal account and see if it is showing up in there.

They are now saying that their correct PayPal address wasn't updated due to an error and they want to give me the correct one. But my payment has been completed so how do I get the original money back? I don't want to pay again until I have the first lot of money refunded

No don't blame you, your seller sounds a nightmare.

I expect the sellers email addy was incorrect on their auction HOWEVER as it has completed it has gone to that address.

Tell your seller to try and re-add that email addy to their paypal account and confirm it as they can have up to 8 email addys on the one paypal account.

If they can the money should come with it.

If they don't or can't then the only way to get your money back is to file a dispute for non receipt of item via the resolution tab on your paypal account or via ebay if you bought it from there. Then when you have the refund you can consider paying the seller again but personally I think i would buy elsewhere.

They just tried to add the email and it said that PayPal was having a problem and to try again later, I really just want my money back. How can I do this?

Well filing a dispute will take longer and i have already advised you how to do that in the last paragraph.

It would be quicker if the seller succeeds with adding the email addy so i would give him a couple of days to keep trying.
