I added my savings account to my paypal and in doing so my original checking account was removed. I went to re-add my checking and it says it has been disabled? I do not understand why?
To be honest this sounds like a coincidence, unless you've been deleting Direct Debits. This type of thing can usually be sorted fairly quickly though, shoot an e-mail off to customer service 🙂
If you wish to send us an email you can click on the contact us link. If you are unable to find an option that is the same as your query please click the option that is closest to yours. Even if your chose a wrong option your email can generally be sent on to the correct department.

You would need to contact PayPal directly in relation to this. If there ios anything that can be done toi re-enable your bank account they can do it on the phone.
However, if you have added and removed your bank account 3times or more from the PayPal system you may not be able to use the bank account again due to security.

i,m trying to re-register my bank acc details againt my paypal acc, i had to disable all direct debits last month at the bank. and now paypal will not let me re-register the bank details. keep telling me the details are disabled.. going into my bank tomorrow
Hey there, what often happens is that when direct debits are cancelled, we get a notification from the bank telling us the accounts are closed. They are then removed from our system. A quick contact to PayPal asking that the bank be allowed to be re-added should resolve the issue. You can then re-add the bank and re-confirm.
