We have 25 monthly donors (non-profit organization) They theoretically were set up as "automatic", but someone has to process each of them on a monthly basis. Is there some way to automate this?

Hi @Vicki24,

Thank you for this clarification. I'm sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. I did some research to find the answer for you, and discovered that the monthly option on the donation button does not actually automate the payments, just like you described. The one workaround I can suggest is to use a subscription button going forward instead of a donation button. This will allow for the recurring payment to be fully automated. I'm sorry that the current monthly donations are not automated in that way.

Thanks, Olivia. Our newer donations are already automated. So, I infer that the previous donors cannot be automated by me - that I would have to cancel and ask them to initiate their donations again? This is a bit risky - they may stop donating.

Hi @Vicki24,

That would be correct, and that's a very valid concern to consider. I'm sorry there isn't a way to retroactively adjust that payment.
