card linking problems

i have problem linking my mastercard on paypal, and i have been trying for a week now, ,and this is driving me nuts.. i have tried to contact paypal through various means even via calls but no answer..i need help with this

One common issue. Old accounts do u have any older PayPal accounts? Where this card might be active. If so delete the card from that account frees it up to be reused. Security feature. Stop ur card being used for protection.

Secondly card must be active with ur bank and have couple on pound the card. When a card is add behind the scenes and dumby fake payment is tried to confirm card details two ideas to try best of luck.

Hello kenla, Thanks for your response, but I have no other PayPal account, I have also contacted my bank and they have checked my card and told me it is okay, I have also been using the same card previously on the same PayPal account, the issue came up when I removed the card and wanted to change it, the new (Visa) card did not work, and when I tried to return the old (Master Card) card back it says " check your card details and try again" and that is what has been the case for the last 1 week now, it is still rejecting the card

Regret u most likely need to call support. Have them check further.
