paypal wont accept my card

it says that i cant register my debit card to paypal because it is linked to too many accounts? i dont have any other accounts o paypal and im just registering. i use to use the not a member thing and use my card but one transaction said it didnt accept the type of card and everyone said to make an account so i did but i cant register my card. please help me.

If you are being advised that you are unable to register your card as it was already registered on PayPal previously, you won't be able to use that card again in future. 

If you wish, you can try contacting us directly and we can try to investigate this further for you. Do you know if you would have given your card information to anyone in the past to purchase an item from you? This could also be how your information has been registered previously on PayPal.

If you try contacting us, we will be able to investigate this further for you and let you know if there is anything more we can do.

What am;I;to do I have entered both my debet and credet card and it wont accept them.

I have a long time ago used paypal but could not remember the paswawd and cicrety  questions
