Print Invoice Issue

Hi all,

 

A week or two ago, the Print/PDF button on invoices stopped working properly. Instead of opening a printable view of the invoice, it now loads the whole PayPal page containing the invoice into a dialog. I can then scroll to find the Print/PDF button inside the dialog page and click it again. This then launches the same page inside a dialog, within the dialog. You can keep on going like this in ever smaller dialogs, like a hall of mirrors.

 

I have tried logging this as an error with PayPal a week or two ago, but I have received no response. This is really annoying as I need to keep the saved PDF copies of the paid invoices for my records.

 

I have attached a some screenshots that show the problem. I have tried it in both Chrome, IE and IE Edge. My system details are:

 

  • Windows 10 Pro Version 1709 (64-bit)
  • Chrome Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • IE 11 Version 11.64.16299.0
  • IE Edge Version 41.16299.15.0

Hi @PayPal_paula,

 

I have tried following the link that you posted. When I follow the link I end up at a page titled Support. On this page is a link titled PayPal Technical Support (Report a bug or issue). Following this link takes me to the Merchant Technical Support page that only has a search box.

 

There doesn't appear to be anywhere to submit a bug or support ticket.

I think that you may have misunderstood. I am looking to report a bug or issue, and not search through the community support archive. It seems that all pleas for help lead to this page.

 

Is there any way at all of submitting a a support ticket or reporting a bug???

I'm having the same issue and haven't found a solution yet. If I try to force a print through Ctrl-P, the top half of the invoice is a mess as both the main screen and the "print box" screen try to print on top of each other. Clicking the "Print" button in the pop up box just creates a new popup box, ad infinitum.  It's getting really frustrating, I haven't found a workaround yet.
