I've confirmed my bank account, clicked on the "Complete set up" link and sent the DD Authority request. I have seen the trial amount debitted and then credited back to my account.
But so far, no sign of the DD Authority being set up on the bank account. PayPal still says "Needs your approval".
How long does this take usually? Is it just down to the bank's processing times? I would expect it to be almost instant, these days.
Unfortunately it is not possible clear the failed confirmation. You could try remove the bank account and re-add it. It should show the option again to confirm bank and restart the process.
Presumably removing the bank account and restarting the process would also render redundant the Direct Debit Authority that was successfully set up, and result in a new DD Authority being setup as well?
