Can't add additional email address

I've had this email adress linked to PayPal before but it has somehow deleted itself, now everytime I try ad add it again I keep getting this error

Anyone else had this? It's quite important I link it back as I've had funds sent via this email addy

Hi Itsmeinlondon,

 

I have only ever heard of this error message appearing when a customer is trying to complete a transaction from their PayPal account. Were you going through the Profile on your PayPal account to try and register the email address?

 

Do you know if it is possible that the email address may have been registered on an old PayPal account that you are unable to access? This could result in you receiving an error message but it should not be the error message that you have been receiving.

 

You could consider contacting customer services directly and we can try to assist you with resolving this issue and receiving your payment.

I am getting the exact same error message when I try to add additional emails to our account.  Yes, I am going through the account, profile, email, add.  After I click add, that message pops up.  And no, that email address is not associated with an old Paypal account.

I'm having a similar problem. I try simply to add another email address, through the Profile menu, but when I click the "Add" button, appears a message:

It appears every time I click the "Add" button, so I can't add the email address. Any solution, please?

I'm having the same issue. I keep getting that exact message from paypal and i've tried several different times. This isnt the first time I had an issue that isn't easily resolved. Every post I make I complain about how I haven't been able to relink my bank account after a year and half and this one is no exception lol

 

I should add that this is a newly created email address that i would like to have added. Maybe it has nothing to do with an email address that was there previously.

Hi I am having exactly the same problem and am very concerned as I am trying to change my email after seeing 2 more unauthorised transactions in my account! I already had 1 at the start of this month after which I changed my email and password.  I don't believe my account is compromised as paypal seem to be reversing these payments but I am very concerned why they are appearing so am trying to change my email once again. I have contacted paypal several times asking why and how they are appearing but have yet to receive any reply!!!!

I am currently away working so this causing me extra worry as I only have limited net access.

I just tried again today and I was able to add a new email address. Don't know if it was a one-day problem or if the support service has solved it, but it's done now. Hope everybody can do it too.
