I complete Opinions several times a month thru my email . I just recently checked my balance on pay pal, and it showed just a lousy $2.25. Where is the rest of this money going?

Welcome to the boards!

When you receive funds into your PayPal balance, and then later make a payment, your balance will be used first.  So if you've been receiving payments, but then have been making purchases, that's probably where the funds have been going. 

Otherwise, if you're not receiving the amount you expected from your vendor, I would recommend reaching out to them as to why there is a discrepancy.
