Hi there coronadosailor,

When a chargeback is opened we send a number of emails to both the buyer and seller to their primary email addresses. With the goods in question being a boat I don't think you would have been covered anyway. I'm guessing a company like Royal Mail or DHL couldn't deliver a boat...

The below is from our User Agreement

11.10 What are examples of items/transactions/cases that are not eligible for PayPal seller protection?

  1. Intangible items, licenses for digital content, and services.
  2. Items that you deliver (or are picked up) in person.
  3. Transactions made through Website Payment Pro (PayPal Direct Payment and Virtual Terminal).
  4. Claims, Chargebacks and Reversals for Significantly Not as Described; and/ or claims filed directly with eBay.
  5. PayPal Business Payments.

I hope this helps clear it up for you a bit more.

Wayne
