Where are my emails?

Since this afternoon I've only received 3 or 4 payment confirmations from paypal.
I've actually received so far about 30 payments.
The sales and payments are showing in my ebay selling manager and are showing in my paypal account.
So where are the emails?
I use Thunderbird as my email client and Virgin media as my webmail.
I've checked my Virgin webmail and nothing from paypal is sitting there not even in spam.
I'm confused ????

The same problem here.
But not from this afternoon but at least from 29/06/2011. I did call support and they told me that they are experiencing "some kind of difficulties" (whatever that means).
You shall expect payment confirmation email delays for up to 12 hours.
Sadly - You can't do anything about this.

I phoned them this morning and they told me the same thing you just said , technical difficulties - they are working on it.

Hey guys,
I haven't heard of any technical issues recently to be honest but that doesn't mean that there are no issues with customers receiving emails from us. There are one or two different things that you can try to do in order to determine if it will resolve the issue that you are having.
If you aren't receiving emails from us, please try the following:
- Make sure you correctly entered your email address on your PayPal account.
- Make sure that the email we sent didn't go to your junk mail or spam folder.
If you aren't receiving our emails, you may need to change your email settings so the messages from PayPal don't go to your junk mail folder. You can also add another email address to your PayPal account.
You can receive text emails, instead of HTML emails. Here's how to change your email format:
- Go to www.paypal.co.ukand log in to your account.
- Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
- Select 'My account settings'.
- Click 'Update' in the 'Communication preferences' section.
- Select 'Plain Text' under 'Payment Notifications'.
- Click 'Save'.
• You may also wish to try adding paypal.com to your 'Safe' list on your email account.
• You may also want to check the 'Junk Mail Filter'.
If you are still facing the same difficulties, you should try contacting customer services again and we can get the information passed on to our technical department for you both.
