Samsung Galaxy S7 edge fingerprint login

Hi

I've just installed the PayPal mobile app on my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and am trying to set up fingerprint login. When I try to link my fingerprint, a dialogue pops up which says that my fingerprint cannot be confirmed at the moment. I have made sure that the app is the latest version and my fingerprint unlocks the phone with no problem at all. 

Is this an issue with this particular phone or with Samsung devices in general. If so will there be a fix soon?

Thanks you for posting on our Community :). 
There was indeed an issue on our end with the Fingerprint for Samsung phones. Our technical teams trying to resolve this. If we have a fix we will add this to the phone update. So just make sure you have the app up to date and you will have the finger print option when the fix is complete.
