Each time I try to add my credit card to my paypal account, i keep getting this response: "This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued it. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Please enter a different card."

I immediately contacted my issuer and I got this response from them:

Dear Mr Qas,

Thank you for contacting the Ukash Service Team.

We inform you that there are no problems with your card. We kindly ask you to contact PayPal regarding this issue.

Should you have further questions about the information given above, please reply directly to this email, including our original text and ticket number. This will help us to deal with your enquiry much faster.

Thank you for using Ukash.

Kind regards

Katharina Kosmala

Please can anyone tell me what the problem might be

Hi Alimquas,

Welcome to the UK Community forum and thanks for posting!

When you try to add a card to your PayPal account, PayPal sends an automatic message to your card issuer to verify the details that you entered. Your bank responds with either “Accepted” or Denied”. I recommend calling your card issuer and requesting to speak with the Online Authorisation Department, instead of the general customer services team. Your card issuer may need to remove any blocks they have placed on the card for online payments.

I hope this helps,
Maria
