Unable to access my account, please help!

As the topic says, i'm unable to access my paypal account...

I have tried loging in with user details of which fails, I then proceeded to retrieve my password, but when I do anything on that page I get the following...

"Sorry, an error occurred after you clicked the last link"

 

I have searched google, and here in the community forms, and have tried the numerous things, like clearing cache and changing browser. None have worked! Had to create a new account just so I could post here!

I had to make this account to post this, but on my main paypal account which is linked to my card, I have forgotten the password, I still have access to the email however when I send a recovery email for the password I get the following message - 

Sorry, an error occurred after you clicked the last link

What do I do and how can I access my paypal account again?

Sorry to hear you are having difficulties with accessing your PayPal account and resetting the password. As we can only offer general advice on the public forum, I’d strongly recommend contacting our Customer Services team by phone for assistance. They will be able to locate your account and guide you through accessing it again.

 

If you click on the “Contact Us” link at bottom of any PayPal screen and chose the option to contact by Phone, you will receive the telephone number and a one time passcode.
