A person bought something from me on eBay, said he was not happy with it so I said I would refund his money when I got the item back. Somehow when I thought I was purchasing a return to me shipping label, he got a full refund back and I don't have my item and ebay and Paypal are telling me there is nothing they can do. They told me to contact Mr. Christopher Lange and ask him to send me back my item. I did call the man and he said he didn't know where my item was. I am at wits end and have no idea where to turn now. I don't have my money and I don't have my item.
If you voluntarily refunded (albeit accidentally) before you had your item back then paypal can't force the buyer to return the item now as its too late.
You can pursue via the small claims court or similar in your country, if the buyer thinks you are going to do this then he may decide to send it back again.
