Unable to add money from my bank while overseas

Hey guys, I am traveling around the world for a long time and I would like to be able to top up my PayPal balance with my connected bank account but I am continuously being told that I can't. Some help would be greatly appreciated, Brad

did you set limit in your Paypal account/

what currency

I'm currently in Malaysia. My bank is in the USA. I have no idea if there is a limit set because I can't find anything about it. Thanks, Brad

You account is for use in the U. S.  You'll need to wait untl you return to the U. S. to fix things.

You could also phone PayPal support for other options.

I was able to use a vpn to make the transfer. Thanks

Please note that use of a VPN to disguise where you're logging in from in order to circumvent the security controls is not permitted. For more information about activities that are not allowed on PayPal, please click Legal and then the PayPal User Agreement. Participating in restricted activities can lead to account limitation, and we definitely don't want that to happen!

you have a US pAYPAL account and is linked to  US bank account?

You are now in Malaysia,and you cannot transfer frun from your bank to Paypal account,is that the problem?

How long are you going tobe in Malaysia? 

you may have to open a Malaysian Paypal account and link your US bank adn local bank to it,I dont know what kind of ID would Paypal want from you to open such account.

Paypal Singapore has customer service,call them.
