Number not showing up on verification.

A couple days ago I changed phone providers and therefore got a new number. I changed my number on PayPal thinking it wouldn't be a problem, but now whenever I try to buy something it tells me to verify through SMS or call but my number isn't there, however, when I try to type in my number it tells me this number isn't in your name... I have my SSN but confirming my identity doesn't seem to be an option. Is there a certain time period I have to wait before my number shows up or? I tried contacting PayPal but it tells me I have no account under my SSN, or old phone number (nor current one). I'm really lost.

Is the new phone number registered to your name and address?
Did you ADD the new phone number and get it verified or did you try to change an old number?
Can you access your account from your computer? Is the data correct?
It seems you need to phone PayPal suport and get it fixed, but you need to be able to identify yourself.
