Removing old shipping addresses still impossible

When I pay for something using Paypal checkout, it promps me to login, then lists a number of mailing addresses (including the default!) that haven't been used by me in quite some time (8+ years in some cases). These addresses aren't listed in either my eBay or my PayPal profiles, so how do I delete them?

Have you tried deleting your web browser's cookies, temp files and history? After you do that, close the browser, reopen it and retry.

I'm talking about addresses that are 6-7 computers ago. How could that possibly fix the problem?

If you don't have these addresses listed in your PayPal Account Address Book, then you have a different issue.

Not so unique, considering I've been able to find numerous threads in the archive here of people complaining of the same thing. None of them appeared to be resolved, so I guess I'll try a support ticket.

I have the same problem. The primary concern is that when checking out, an old address is showing as default, even though my current address is the ONLY ONE in my profile.

Yep, that's the exact same problem I've currently got. Still haven't heard back on my support ticket, FYI.

I am having the same issue-- I checked out through Hyena Cart and my payment went to them with an old shipping address, even though every eBay purchase I make goes through with my current one. Hyena Cart doesn't store addresses (so their tech folks say), so it must be PayPal. I looked and there about 15 old addresses in there, with no way to delete them. Seriously? Why not?

I see this as well. It's not cookies, as others said, I've changed computers multiple times since the old addresses have been used. I really want to clean these out, one is for an old work address that has been out of business for almost 10 years, and I've since changed states twice. There is no chance I'm sending anything there ever again.
Come on Paypal, it's time to fix this issue.
