Welcome to the boards; sorry it took so much frustration to bring you here. 😞
I completely understand where you're coming from as far as not having that documentation and why. Makes complete sense. What we're trying to verify is that the information you've provided on your account matches up with real life information. So a utility bill is out, I'm also guessing a cell phone bill is out? What about car insurance statement? Tax records, recent school records showing where you live? Something along those lines.
Hope that helps!

Paypal just rejected my cable bill as proof of address. Because I live in an apartment, I am only responsible for paying that bill directly.
I have no intentions of sending Paypal copies of my lease. That's too far.

Sorry to hear that. And it's kinda odd...that should be a perfect way to verify your address. On what you submitted, does it have your full service address and your name as it appears on your PayPal account? You may want to give us a call so we can review that for some clarification.

I'm having the same problem with verifying my proof of address. I've submitted more than one document that clearly shows my name and residence. It's been close to a week one of the documents I've submitted, but no response or "in progress". I uploaded two more yesterday with the information they required, but still no "in progress" message. I'd like to have my limited account status removed so I can actually use my paypal. This whole waiting game is completely ridiculous.

I recently just joined paypal (entirely). Today I just bought a Moneypak card in order to use to purchase some things online. I go to "add funds" to redeem the card, but end up with a huge "confirmation page" which asks for address, phone number, name, etc. Aside from the fact that I've already given most of this stuff when I registered, the fact that I would give my SSN out is absurd. I refuse to do it, even to a "secure site" like this one. Is there any way I can verify this moneypak card and add the funds to my account without giving that away. Would adding a credit card bypass this entirely? I've browsed the forums a little before I made this thread, and here are a couple things to get out of the way, to make solving this predicament easier.
1. I haven't used moneypak at all this year. Nothing.
2. I am over 18.
3. No, I have nothing attached so far to my account, aside from some basic information (No credit or debit, Bank account, SSN/Tax ID, etc)
That's about it.
If you have any solutions please tell me, I really need this money and it **bleep** to waste it all. I paid with cash and I don't really want a refund, just a solution.

**bleep** for you. Sorry about that :/. I'm just stuck between how to redeem it - I don't care how secure a site is, I'm not putting my SSN onto it. If there is any other way to redeem it (Bank account would be an inconvenience but would still work, and I do have a debit card.), then I'd like to use that first.
