Bank confirmation

Do I need to confirm my bank account with PayPal by email in order to receive the two bank deposits?

All we did was enter our bank account info, account number, routing number, etc.  Then waited a few days, the two small deposits appeared on our bank statement.  We then entered both deposits in our account settings to complete the process.
