eBay guarantee and PayPal scam

I purchases a product on eBay, paid with my credit card, product was not as described. eBay jerked me around and after 3 weeks of daily effort eBay tells me they refunded my money to my paypal account. I don't have a paypal account. Called paypal and they will not send the money. eBay should have never sent money to paypal.  eBay said they cannot return the money to me (company policy whatever).

You can't make this crap up. **bleep** ebay and a larger **bleep** to paypal.

Why does anyone do business with eBay and/or paypal. Why does anyone buy product online???

You checked out at eBay with credit card right so PayPal has jack to do with the transaction. I don't know why eBay say they refunded you through PayPal.  Did you file a SNAD case on eBay?  The money back guarantee should have kicked in, you return the item with prepaid label from seller and the refund should have gone back to your credit card after returning the item with tracking.

This stuff is supposed to be easy with online forms and prompts on how to do it.

 Yes, getting paypal is jack crap. and paypal knows tbut why  keep my money...eBay was wrong sending the funds to paypal and paypal is jack crap for keeping it. Hey Paypal you're out of order

did you pay with your credit card on Paypal site?

what email address did you use ?

what email address did Ebay sent the payment to?

You may also have the option to dispute the charge on your credit card if the eBay MBG dispute was closed on you.

unless the seller can accept credit card with his own merchant account,OP would be using paypal to pay with credit card. as a guest.

Buying on internet is not as easy as one thought .like I bought a scale from Macy.com,IT does not work ,Macy said I can return to any store or return via UPS.

I have problem getting a return label on line so  

I went to a Macy store,it is closing soon and stopped accepting return as of Jan 31.

So I came back and lo and behold,I am able to print a return label.

so tomorrow I will be going to UPS to drop off the package.

Back to buying from indivdual on Ebay,and using Paypal guest checkout,if everything works out fine,then you have a pleasant experience.

But chances are higher that it wont work fine-buying from indivual,on fleabay,not having a Paypal account and check out as a guest.

It just not worth it.
