I know this probably wont go anywhere, but here we go. I bought an 1875S Trade dollar and used PayPal to pay. Here's the kicker; I bought it about 10 years ago and just now wnanted to have PCGS grade it cause I love the coin. Not rich, just casual coin collector. Well,... its fake. No disclaimer from Ebay that this coin is counterfieted a lot. I couldnt tell. But Im sure the dealer knew this fact. Paid going price and assumed genuine. Can PayPal find this record? I know. Buyer beware. Just so mad I trusted by the number of bids. Any answers would be appeciated. Long sinse lost my digital record. Hope my other coins are real. This one was my most expensive at $550.
Thank U.
Sincerely, the big dummy.

If you had had it checked on receipt and filed a dispute with proof it was fake within 180 days of receipt you would have been refunded.

Ya. My stupid, but Its expensive at PGCS, and I waited too long so I could get better bang for buck when sending more at same time. I trusted the dealer. Not a person.

I have read about counterfeit and fake coins on Ebay, and now there is fake gold with the exact certificate and packaging as the name brand.
On the street of SE Asia and in US ethnic town gift shops, there are many silver commeorative coins from all over the world, but if you pick a few of them up and look at the rim, they are all the same, how can it be possible?
like wise,if a factory in China which makes designer handbag for Coach, they can make knockoff of other designers, they have the knowhow, the material and labor, this is why sometimes you find some which look good but odd color, buckle ?
