I am a cosplayer who had a Warmachine suit that is full armor and lights up commissioned by Katburyfactory last Feb. This company is based out the Phillipines and I found them on Facebook but I didnt mind the location since I frequently order things overseas. I paid 750.00 for this suit to be made. After the initial payment of 375.00 I was told that the would need time to start it and once the suit is have way done they would ask for the full payment. So 3 months had gone by and they wanted the other payment. So they sent me pictures of the progress so far and it was half way done as they said. So I paid the remaining 375.00 waiting for them to finish. I was told by May I would recieve it. May came and I still didnt recieve even a tracking number. So I kept contacting them through messages and after weeks at a time they would tell me that they were almost finished. Once July came I told them that I would report them if I dont recieve anything. They finally gave me a shipping number but on every web site I went on it did not work. They told me that the shipping prices had changed in the philipines so they would have to resend the suit. Now we are in August and again they are taking weeks to respond and I asked what was the new tracking number and I never recieved a reply. I told them I wanted a refund and they told me that I would have to wait until someone else made a purchase with them so they could send me the money. So I called paypal to file a claim and I was told that since both payments were over 90 days ago there was nothing I can do but try to contact my bank. So I contacted my bank and they said that it could only be done by Paypal since they do not have access to the detials for the claim. What I would like to know is how do I take the steps to get my money back now? I also would like to know how to report them as a fraudulate company. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
