Question about Dispute

Hello,

 

I purchased a Powerbank from smallhobby.com (shopify.com) last month, and I got a confirmation email saying that I purchased the Powerbank, and they will email me with updates in regards to shipping and whatnot.  To this day, I never got any emails from them, and yes, I checked the spam folder.  

 

I emailed them, asking when will they ship the powerbank, I never got a reply.  I then emailed the seller himself, and again, no response.  

 

i opened a dispute, and waited for 6 days for a response, but never got one.  So, I escalated the dispute to PayPal.  My question is, is that if the seller does not respond to PayPal within 10 days, what will happen?

 

If the seller does respond, saying they will ship it on <date>, and should arrive on <date>, and I still don't receive it, then what?  I paid nearly $60 CAD for that Powerbank, and I don't want to lose that money to scammers.

They will have to provide tracking number if they respond to the escalation.  When you escalate, that means all talk between seller and buyer cease and PayPal steps in and require certain information from the seller to settle the dispute.  If the seller don't respond within the 10 days after you escalated with either tracking number or a refund PayPal will decide on case. Likely in your favor and refund you.
