Pending Refund

Hi There,

 

i recieved a refund from John <removed> on 16th September 2016 however my refund has been "pending" for the past 6 days, meaning the money hasn't been added into my account and i don't know why.

There shouldn't have been any issues with my email address/bank.

So i have no idea as to why it hasn't been processed.

 

It certainly does not help that i am unable to speak to a HUMAN at paypal...everything seems to be done via computer/robot!!

Call them again and when you are on the line, press zero for agent.

If you paid the payment that was refunded with your bank account, your bank account may still be "processing" the payment, which means that the refund is pending. More likely though, the seller issued you a refund without having enough in their paypal balance at the time and it pulled the money from their bank and sent it as an eCheck, which usually takes 3-5 business days to clear. However, if they didn't have the money in their bank when when paypal went to collect, it might have take longer because they are waiting for the bank to clear it.
