I received email from PayPal about unusual activity in my PayPal account - see below the fragment. It is genuine, not a scam email. The unusual activity originated in a country I have never been to. I confirmed my identity, change the password and the limitation what I can do with the account was lifted, all is good.
My question is this - can you tell from the PayPal email what exactly has happened? Is it just that someone entered my email address and tried to login with incorrect password? That could have happened simply by mistake. I sometimes make a typo when entering my username to access various websites. Or was it something more severe, deliberate?
Thanks.

Why not call PayPal customer service and have them look at your account? They may disclose the problem or, for security, they may not.
